Manuka
- Manuka is a hard wood that burns hot and slow. Ideally suited to burn with a soft wood.
- You will need a soft wood to start a fire, then once the fire is going Manuka can burn for hours keeping your toes toastie in winter. The perfect wood to put on your fire when you go to bed.
- The perfect wood for pizza ovens, bbq cooking and smoking fish/meat.
Mac
Mac is a medium density wood that is not recommended for an open fire due to the often fierce crackling nature of this wood. It does smell nice and burns well when mixed with Manuka/Kanuka.
Pine
Pine is a soft wood, commonly used in most wood burners. Perfect for getting fires going and recommended to be mixed with other woods for a more efficient warm home.
